Miss Ceiera L. Y. Phillips

Miss Ceiera Latrice Yvonne Phillips, 21, passed away unexpectedly at Forsyth Medical Center on Wednesday, July 8, 2015.

She was born to Cleondra Sylvia Phillips and Antoine Mobley in Winston-Salem, NC on August 30, 1993.

Ceiera was a 2011 graduate of Atkins High School where she was very outgoing and a star athlete in track and field. At the time of her passing, she was studying criminal justice at Tiffin University and working as a cashier at the Akron Drive location of Cook-Out Restaurant.

She was baptized at Eastside Church of Christ at a very young age and most recently had been attending services at The Love Church.

Ceiera is preceded in death by her grandmother, Florene Y. Phllips; great grandfather, Samuel Phillips; and an aunt, Marcia Campbell.

Surviving family members who will forever cherish loving memories include her parents, Cleondra Phillips and Antoine Mobley; her sister, A’Dasia Brunson; her great grandmother, Sylvia Phillips; several aunts, uncles, extended family members and many friends.

A funeral service will be held at 3 pm on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at The Love Church. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service, at 2 pm, at the church. There will be no public viewing prior to the visitation.
