Mrs. Jessie B. Leak
Jessie was raised in Lewisville, NC and later moved to Winston-Salem, NC. She sang with The Bennett Family and the Lewisville Spiritual Singers. Jessie was a 1962 graduate of Carver High School and a pillar of the community. She was a founding member of Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Deaconess Board (Deaconess Emeritus) and the gospel choir, until her health declined. In the Easton Community she was affectionately known as Grandma.
She was the baby sister of Mary Elizabeth, Joe and John Bennett all who preceded her in death.
Left to celebrate her life and cherish her precious memories the love of her life, husband, Luther N. Leak, of the home; three daughters, Etta (Christopher) Branson, Elizabeth (Victor) Wright, Mary (Elder Olando) Speas; one son, Luther N. Leak, III, all of Winston-Salem; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law; one devoted brother-in-law, Rev. Charles (Olivia) Leak; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM on Tuesday at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. The family will greet friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Interment will be in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.

Dr. Pauline R. Fulton
Dr. Pauline Robinson Fulton of 3070 Butterfield Drive , Winston-Salem , North Carolina , passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 20, 2013, at home. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Massie Robinson, born in York County , South Carolina on October 8, 1939. She was married to William Finley Fulton and to this union two sons were born.
She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, Winston-Salem , North Carolina and recently attended First Baptist Church , Winston-Salem , North Carolina .
She was educated in the public schools of York County, South Carolina and continued her education at Talladega College, Talladega, Alabama (undergrad), University of North Carolina at Greensboro (Masters in Education), and University of North Carolina (PhD). She served as an educator in various school districts and retired as a professor of English from Winston-Salem State University .
A devoted and loving wife and mother, she enjoyed reading and taking care of her family.
Dr. Pauline Robinson Fulton leaves to cherish fond memories, her husband of forty-nine years, Mr. William Finley Fulton; two sons, William Finley Fulton Jr. and Geoffrey Fulton; one sister, Alma Robinson Littlejohn, Gastonia, North Carolina; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Maxine Fulton Johnson, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Mrs. Shirley Fulton, Taylors, South Carolina and Mrs. Gertrude Robinson of Badin, North Carolina; one brother-in-law, Mr. James Fulton, Taylor, South Carolina; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dr. Fulton’s memory to the Scholarship Fund of First Baptist Church, 700 N. Highland Avenue , Winston-Salem , NC .
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at First Baptist Church with Dr. Darryl Aaron, officiating. The family will greet friends thirty minutes prior to the service. Interment will be in Gardens of Memory, Walkertown , NC
