Mrs. Azilee E. Majett

Azilee “Hazel” Evans Majett was born to the late Archie Lee Evans and Almatine Fletcher King on November 23, 1958 in Washington, DC. She departed this earthly life to reward on September 4, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.
She received her education in Winston-Salem, NC and was currently enrolled at Kaplan University.
Azilee was employed at Chick-Fil-A until her health declined.
She was a faithfull member and praiser of Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
Azilee was preceded in death by her father, one son, Monte´ Evans and her brother, John Edward Mitchell.
Left to rejoice in her homegoing are her husband, Garrett Majett; daughters, Stephanie Evans and Sharon Spencer; two sons: Reginald Evans and Minister Shonte´ Watts; her mother, Almatine King and mother -in-law, Betty Williams; daughter-in-law, Sally Evans: ten grandchildren: Tina, Stephen, Kristen, Jacquilyn, Destiny, Morae´, Nemiseo, Brianna, Monte Shyann and Jordyn; six great grandchildren: Markeya, Tiara, Ricardo, My’Angel, Shanine and Sunni Rae; four sisters: Ann Carolyn Stephens, Glenda Stephens, Sheila Mitchell, and Darlene King; three brothers: James Harrell Stephens, Willie Thomas Stephens, and Garvie King; six brothers and sisters-in-law: Jerry (Belinda) Majett, Minister Francine Majett, Vicki Majett, Michael Majett, Sharon (S’Juno) Brown and Arthur Williams, Jr.; aunts: Annie B. Mitchell, Hattie Mitchell, Ruby Mitchell, Laura Mitchell, Shirley Mitchell, Mable (James) McKeller, and Rebecca Mitchell; uncles: Willie Mitchell, Thurmond Mitchell, Lewis (Geraldine) Mitchell, and Alonzo Mitchell; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Konnie Robinson, pastor, officiating. The family will greet friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
