Miss Coradella Catherine Carnes

Miss Coradella Catherine “Cat” Carnes was born in Winston-Salem, NC to the late Estella Carnes and Richardson Hughes on May 6, 1972. She attended the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County schools.
Catherine loved her family and friends. She loved to help people and was a considerate and compassionate person. She held many interests which included crocheting, photography and she also loved hats.
Catherine spent her final days in the home of her Aunt Brenda Raimer and was granted her angel wings on August 10, 2013.
She leaves to cherish her sweet memories: a sister, Beverly Carnes of Charlotte, NC; two brothers: David Pankey of Winston-Salem and William Carnes of Raleigh, NC; a devoted aunt, Dorothy Bell; aunts: Linda Pert, Brenda Raimer, Seymone Raimer; uncles: Roy Raimer, Jr. and Michael Raimer; nieces: Jasmine Carnes Carter, Zamari Carnes, Zyanna Carnes and Harlym Carnes; nephews: Jordan Carnes, Deshawn Foster and Zy Carnes; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A service in her memory was held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, August 17, 2013 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. The family greeted friends prior to the service.
