Ms. Claudette Fonville

 Claudette Fonville, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend peacefully went home to the heavenly father on Saturday September 28, 2013.

She was born to the late Frank and Ann Thomas in Camden, New Jersey on April 28, 1955.

Claudette graduated from Camden High School and Wilford Beauty Academy. She was a professional cosmetologist and she later worked as a transcriber for the Camden Police Department.  She moved to Winston-Salem, North Carolina 1998 and became a certified pharmacy technician.

She will always be remembered for her beautiful welcoming smile, infectious laugh, her great home cooking and amazing alto singing voice. She was a member of The Church of God and Saints of Christ.


Ms. Fonville is survived by three daughters: Belinda Thomas, Michelle Roseboro (Olander), and Sharon Fonville; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Deborah Calderon (Alcides) and Diane Thompson; a brother, Frank Thomas (Queen Ann); three nephews; a niece; an aunt, Janice Mapp; and many other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, October 7, 2013 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown and Sons Funeral Home. The family will greet friends thirty minutes prior to the service, at 11 am in the chapel.
