Mr. Joseph W. Brim, Sr.

Mr. Joseph W. Brim, Sr. was born in Forsyth County, NC on July 12, 1961 to the late Raleigh and Demetrius Dobson Brim. Joseph graduated from RJ Reynolds High School. Laughter, reading, sketching and playing chess were just a few of his hobbies. If you ever came in contact with Joseph, you found a low key, respectful and non-judgmental personality. His conversation included his belief in Christ, cartoons and his love for his family.
Joseph married his first love, Cheryle S. Crawford and from that union had two sons: Joseph Brim, II and Donnell Brim.
Joseph transitioned into his eternal life on December 27, 2014 at his residence. He was preceded in death were his brothers: Walter and Sandy Brim and his sister, Carolyn Brim.
He leaves to cherish their memories of him: his sons: Joseph and his wife Melody, Donnell and his wife Nicole; their mother, Cheryle S. Crawford; three granddaughters: Imani, May and Alaya; one grandson, Jamari; forever in the hearts of his loving, devoted, friend and brother, David Lee Brim; sister Cathy Ann Brim (Donald) Samuel; aunts: Wilma Dobson, Lillie Mae Vernon and Thelma Ayers; a host of nieces, hephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. The family will greet friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
