Mr. Louis Scott

Mr. Louis Scott, affectionately known as “Pop Pop”, was born on September 18, 1947 in Winston-Salem, NC to the late James P. and Catherine Booe Scott. On Sunday, March 3, 2013, Pop Pop unexpectantly entered into eternal rest.
He attended Paisley High School and served in the United States Army. He retired from Westinghouse Turbine Plan after 25 years of service.
Pop Pop was preceded in death by his parents and a son. Those who survive him and will forever cherish his memory are daughters: LaTeesha (Doug) Mungin of Charlotte, NC; Nicole Niang and Le’Von Scott; one son Troas Shackleford of Winston-Salem, NC; Granchildren, D.J., Laila, Gabrielle, Jordan, Sanaa, Johnathan, Serenity, Josiah, Azaiaih and Jasun; sisters, Trosia (Ashby) Champagne, Lettie (Jack) Hope, and Roberta Scott; brothers, James and Joe Scott and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A service in his memory will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
