Mr. Charles A. Morrison passed away unexpectedly at his home in Winston-Salem, NC on Tuesday, September 24, 2013.
He was born in Iredell County, NC to the late Roscar and Ina Rosby Morrison on December 1, 1944.
Mr. Morrison was a graduate of Unity High School in Statesville, NC. He gave honorable service for his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a “Trucker” for all of his life.
Survivors include two daughters, Ericka R. Morrison and Pamela McWhorter; granddaughters, Genesis and India McWhorter; grandson, Gregory Foushee, III; his stepmother, Betty Walker Morrison; stepsisters, Barbara Ridley, Deborah Gray and Angela Daniels; a stepbrother, John Daniels, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Graveside funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm on Monday, September 30, 2013 at Freedom Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 1321 Turnersburg Highway, Statesville, NC with military honors.
