Mrs. Louise B. Greggs was born on August 27, 1917 to the late Arthur and Annie Brabham. She was educated in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System, graduating from Carver High School.
Louise relocated to New York City where she met and married Alonzo Greggs on August 2, 1947. They cherished their vows until he preceded her in death on May 7, 2006.
On Tuesday night, November 3, 2009, she was called from labor to reward at Carney Cartis Hospital in Boston, MA.
She leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Agnes (Azell) Davis of Boston, MA; one son, Carl Greggs, Sr. of Bolivia, NC; three grandchildren: Delores Davis, Carl V. Greggs, Jr. and Natasha Holloway; three great grandchildren: Charles Taylor, Carlasia Greggs and Natalia Daniels; one sister, Cora Cloud; one brother, Stanley Brabham; two sisters-in-law, Juanita Dukes and Annie Ruth Greggs; a special friend, Ms. Dorthea of New York and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
