Miss Marilyn A. Bailey
August 08, 2014
On Friday, August 8, 2014, God dispatched an angel to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center to take our loved one back to heaven to meet her mother, father, sisters, brothers and friends who preceded her. Marilyn Ann Bailey was warmly received at that grand reunion in the sky.
She was born in Winston-Salem, NC on October 20, 1946 to the late William McKinley Bailey, Sr. and Mary Louise Reaves Bailey.
Marilyn Bailey was educated in the public schools of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County and graduated from A.H. Anderson Senior High School. She received her early Christian Education at Rising Ebenezer Baptist Church where she attended along with other family members.
She was known to “entertain strangers” because she had a spirit of fellowship, a giving heart and loving personality.
The memory of Marilyn Bailey will forever be cherished by her children, Reginald Bailey and Sonja Bailey; four grandchildren, Malcolm Bailey, Lorenzo Jarrett, Jr., Brittany Bailey and Brianna Bailey; two sisters, Virginia Bailey Cuthrell and Aurelia Bailey Stribling; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and many friends.
