Monica Monique Smith was born on July 17, 1978 to Marie Smith and the late Phillip King. She was a 1996 graduate of Glenn High School and attended Bennett and Salem Colleges. Monica excelled in her musical and sewing talents. She was an extraordinary mother, daughter, sister and friend.
Monica passed away on March 8, 2014. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her most precious jewels: Tokyo T. and Asia A. Smith; her brother, Eric (Rhonda) Chisholm of Lynchburg, VA; sister, Diane Smith; niece and nephew, Alivia and Joshua Chisholm; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A service in her memory will be held at 11:00 AM on today in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. George Banks, officiating.
We are celebrating Monica Monique Smith today as an Angel who now has been commissioned by Our Lord and Savior to watch over and be the heavenly protector to her most precious jewels: Tokyo T. & Asia A. Smith. May GOD bless and keep these jewels in the physical absence of Monica Monique Smith
