Mrs. Elizabeth Parks Caesar
December 24, 1910 – September 5, 2013
Mrs. Elizabeth Parks Caesar, affectionately called “Ma Bitty,” passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2013. She was born to the late Ruby Digsby and Abraham Parks in Jasper County, Georgia on December 24, 1910. She moved to North Carolina at a very young age and attended the public schools of Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Mrs. Ceasar worked briefly at RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company and she was employed as a domestic in private homes for many years.
In the community she was a member of the Mahalia Jackson Community Outreach Program, Hanes Hosiery Senior Citizens and she was a member of OES, Sisters of Bivouac #530.
“Ma Bitty” was the oldest member of Kimberly Park Holiness Church, where she faithfully served The Mothers’ Board, Senior Choir, Sunday School and Missionary Department.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Quittie C. Caesar and two grandchildren, Brenda Howard Grafton and Ronald Caesar.

Those family members who survive and who will forever cherish loving memories of Elizabeth Parks Caesar include two sons, Samuel Howard and Jimmy (Mozelle) Caesar; ten grandchildren, Mary Howard Chisholm, Jimmy Caesar, Steven (Pamela) Caesar, Elder Alan R. (Deborah) Caesar, Ann Elizabeth Lyerly, JoAnne Dobson, Darren Caesar, Christopher Caesar, James Wilson and Richard (Cleta) Wilson; 21 great grandchildren; 40 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; many other family members and a multitude of friends.
Funeral services will be held at Kimberly Park Holiness Church at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, September 11, 2013. The OES, Sisters of Bivouac #530 ritual will start at 12 noon and family visitations will begin immediately following.
