Mr. Sandy Jackson Brim passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home following a period of declining health. He was born in Forsyth County, NC on February 20, 1958 to the late Raleigh Brim and Demetrius Dobson Brim.

Following graduation from R. J. Reynolds High School, Sandy attended Forsyth Technical Community College where he earned an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy. His compassion as a respiratory care practitioner was unmistakable during his 34 years of employment as a Therapist and Instructor at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Walter Raleigh Brim and his sister, Carolyn Ann Brim. Survivors include his siblings, David Lee Brim, Cathy Brim (Donald) Samuels and Joseph Wesley Brim; aunts, Wilma Dobson, Lillie Mae Vernon and Thelma Ayer; eight nieces and nephews, many cousins, other extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Clark S. Brown and Sons Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 pm, Thursday, July 28, 2014. The family will greet friends in the chapel thirty minutes prior to the services, at 11:30 am. There will be no public viewing.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in memory of Sandy Jackson Brim to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
