Mrs. Ernestine P. Wardlow

Mrs. Ernestine Wardlow, of Winston-Salem, NC entered eternal rest on Saturday, February 23, 2013. Mrs. Wardlow was born on April 7, 1928 in Fairmont, NC to the late Dave and Bessie Pigford.
She retired from Wake Forest Amos Cottage Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Wardlow will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.Mrs. Wardlow was preceded in death by her husband, Joshua Wardlow and son, Charles Wardlow. She is survived by her daughters: Gloria (David) Williams, Carolyn Campbell, Gwendolyn (Lowen) Goulbourne and Nethelius Sheff; sons: David (Vera) Wardlow, Reginald (Chinita) Wardlow and Jerry (Esther) Wardlow; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers: Amos Pigford and Leander (Barbara) Pigford; two devoted nephews: Ronnie (Lisa) Wardlow and John (Louise) Pigford; a devoted niece, Carolyn (CG) Cooper; a devoted God daughter, Lucy Wilkerson; a special family friend, Frank Holman; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will greet friends at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 2, 2013 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:30 PM. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Special thank you to the Oaks of Forsyth.
