Ms. Donna L. Howell


Donna Leandre Howell was born to the late James “Bubba” Howell and Cornelia Wynecoff Howell in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on January 29, 1958.
She graduated from the public schools of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County and continued her education to become a devoted caregiver, laundress and caterer. She was a friend to many and always offered a helping hand and a will-ing heart to those in need.
Early on Friday morning, October 2, 2015, God discharged his angel to His garden at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem to pick a special rose. The angel chose our dear mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt, niece and friend, Donna Leandre Howell.
Those family members who will forever cherish fond memories of her include her daughters, LaTasha K. Howell and Porshay Howell; granddaughters, Tiona L. Howell, Tyeka Wilkes and Tia Wilkes; great grandchild, Ta Liyia L. Howell; her sister, Linda Murrell; Aunt Doris “Bobbie” Thomas; her special and only niece, Lisa Murrell; foster brother, Ravon Jefferson; friends, Thomas Moore, Kenny Wilkes, Pamela Collins, Elaine Shuler, Allen Elder and Frederick Moore.
Funeral services for Ms. Howell Will be held at 1:30 PM on Monday, October 12, 2015 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. The family will greet friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Interment in Piedmont Memorial Gardens.
