Mr. Eugene Edwards

Mr. Eugene Alfred Edwards Jr. was born February 6, 1934 to the late Eugene Edwards Sr. and Georgia Wilkes Edwards. He passed away Thursday morning January 27, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife Vernetha Edwards, his parents, one son Archie L. Pace, a sister Delores E. Avant and a brother-in-law Rev. Seal E. Tyndall.
Mr. Edwards leaves to cherish his memories his son Charlie Lee Pace (Deresa), five grandchildren, Molanda P. Gaither (Kenneth) residing in Winston Salem, NC, Yolanda P. Collier (Anthony) residing in Travis Air Force Base, CA, Chiffon P. Hanna (Lamar) residing in Waukee , IA, Tiara Pace and Christian Pace residing in Winston Salem, six great-grandchildren, one older brother Joseph A. Edwards of Pittsburgh, PA, a sister Evelyn E. Tyndall residing in Winston Salem, NC, a devoted niece Eleanor Tyndall-Jackson and many other nieces and nephews as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at RedeemedMissionary Baptist Church. The family will greet friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
