Miss Monica Kaye Robinson

Ms. Monica Kaye Robinson was called home on April 30, 2013. She was born on June 12, 1960 in Winston-Salem to the late John Henry Robinson and Annie Laura Campbell Robinson. She attended the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County schools. Ms. Robinson was a graduate of Forsyth Technical Community College, where she earned a degree in Early Childhood Development and Health Unit secretary. In her professional career, she was a Paralegal, a Certified Nursing Assistant, a Qualified Paraprofessional and a Lead Daycare Teacher.
Ms. Monica K. Robinson was an active member of First Waughtown Baptist Church and also attended Union Chapel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in Death by her parents, Mrs. Annie Laura Campbell-Robinson and Mr. John Henry Robinson, Jr. A niece, Ms. Shondas Ayore Robinson and a sister, Mrs. DeAnna Marcella Robinson-Perrin.
She leaves to cherish her love and memory: her children, Mr. Faro Robinson (Annquenette Kelley), Ms. Tamica Robinson (Haywood Sansbury), Ms. Nakeisha Robinson (Frederick Leake), Ms. Derikia Robinson (Dominique Newsome). her brother, Everette “Rassberry” (Barbara) Campbell, her sister, Ms. Marlene Robinson (Luther Davis); her nieces: Angelita Campbell, Lashonda Campbell, and Sonya Campbell; her nephews: Mr. Ernest “Rico” Robinson, and Mr. LeVonzo “Von” Robinson; A devoted step-daughter, Ms. Jacqui Dulin; A special friend, Mr. James Ruffin; step-mother, Deanna Patricia Robinson; step-sister, Dietra “Tiny” Gamble; step-brother, Stacy Porter She also leaves a host of Grand Children, two great-grand children, and many extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 4, 2013 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. The family will greet friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
