Mr. Johnny Crosby, Jr.

Mr. Johnny Crosby, Jr., affectionately known as “JJ” was born to Johnny and Ella Strange Crosby in Winston-Salem, NC on January 5, 1983.
He attended the public schools of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County and was a 2001 graduate of East Forsyth High School.
Johnny passed away unexpectedly on April 26, 2013 in Greensboro, NC.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Henry Crosby; his maternal grandparents, Samuel Strange and Elizabeth Strange; and his uncle, Willie Crosby.
Those family members who will forever cherish loving memories of “JJ” include his parents; three sisters: Victoria C. King, Charlotte, NC, Sheri (David) Cook, Stone Mountain, GA and Tecresa Strange of the city; a brother, Samuel Henry Strange, Windsor, NC; his grandmother, Mary Crosby; three aunts: Hattie (Willie) Squire, Julia Moore, and Bonita Crosby; three uncles: Elder Stoney (Cynthia) Crosby, Bobby (Delma) Crosby and George (Carolyn) Crosby, all of the city; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
A memorial service is scheduled for 3:30 PM on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown & Sons Funeral Home. The family will greet friends 30 minutes prior to the service in the chapel.
