Mrs. Gracie Mae Armstrong

Gracie M. Bonner Armstrong went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 21, 2013. She was born on April 15, 1932 to the late John and Coleen Bonner.
She was a dedicated employee of Sara Lee Corporation and a faithful member of Union Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Armstrong was preceded in death by her husband, James Armstrong, two sisters and two brothers.
Those family members who survive and who will forever cherish fond memories of her include four daughters, Paula Bonner, Marilyn Jackson and Gwendolyn Bonner all of the city and Mary Ellen Armstrong, Laurinburg, NC; a son, Michael (Gloria Ann) Bonner; a sister, Opal Bonner; two sisters-in-law, LuBertha Buie, Durham, NC and Annie Mae Armstrong, Laurinburg, NC; a brother-in-law, Harry (Maggie) Armstrong, Laurinburg, NC; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved dearly; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, October 26, 2013 in the chapel of Clark S. Brown and Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Boyd officiating and burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service at 11:30 am and public viewing will end at that time.
