Mr. Lloyd N. Barrow

Lloyd Nolan Barrow was born August 31, 1951 in Washington D.C. He was the eldest child of the late Florence Y. and James N. Barrow. After a brief Illness he departed this life on Monday, September 20, 2010 in the loving home of his brother and sister-in-law Ronald 'Barrow and Tereasa Jones.
Lloyd attended Washington, DC public schools and graduated from Anacostia Sr. High School in June of 1969. In 1971, he married Patricia Miller. Shortly after Lloyd joined the United States Army where he served his country faithfully. Lloyd later joined the Army National Guard. He proudly served for 17 years as a Military Police Officer (MP). During his tenure in the Army National Guard, Lloyd served in Kuwait and In Asia during
Operation: Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm. After faithful service, Lloyd was awarded an Honorable Discharge as a Military Police Sergeant on May 19th, 2001. Lloyd was will be remembered for his love of music, his favorite group, Frankie Beverly and Maze, and his entertaining personality.
He leaves to cherish fond memories Kenneth N. Barrow (son), Sherletta Y. Barrow (daughter), Crystal Graves (daughter), Brothers: Eric K., Arnold J., and Ronald J. Barrow; Sisters: Jacqueline E. Taylor and Ronda L. Jennings; Brother-In-law, Rogers L. Taylor, Jr.; Sisters-In-Law, Faith Barrow and Tereasa Jones, Grandchildren: Kenneth Tapp-Barrow, Rick N. Barrow, Victoria J. Barrow, NaDaija F. Barrow, and Armani Moore; Aunts, Lillian Wilson and Georgella Bell; Uncles: Reuben Bell and Grim Wilson, Jr.; Seven nieces; Seven nephews; Three great nieces, and two great nephews; and host of cousins, loving relatives, and devoted friends.
