Mr. Ernest F. Douglas
Mr. Ernest Franklin Douglas passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2012 after a period of illness. He was born on December 20, 1950 to Esther Douglas Carolina in High Point, NC.
Mr. Douglas was a 1969 graduate of Thomasville Sr. High School. He continued his education in the Culinary Arts in New York where he was an entrepreneur. Before his health declined, he managed the Waffle House on Peters Creek Parkway. Mr. Douglas loved to sing and travel.
He is survived by his mother Esther R. Carolina of Thomasville; two daughters: Tonya (Chris) Allen of Winston-Salem and Amera Douglas of Orlando, Fla; three sons: Amir Douglas of Miami, Fla; Akbar and Omar Douglas, both of New York, NY; thirteen grandchildren; two sisters: Debbie Carolina (Gerry) Walters of Winston-Salem and Yvette H. Carolina of Thomasville; three nieces: Kahlia Carolina of Thomasville, Shenee and Jarmella Carolina of High Point; one nephew, Curtis Carolina of Thomasville; a host of other relatives, many cousins and many friends.
